Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, model and actress who was named Miss USA in 1996, is an American actress. Ali was named by her mother for Ali MacGraw, an actress who appeared in the 1970 film "Love Story.' She is of French (Cajun), Cajun descent, and was raised in Cecilia Louisiana where she went to Cecilia High School. She was 17 when she became the co-captain of her school's cheerleading team and was given the title 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. In 1996, she was crowned 'Miss Louisiana USA. It was her first big break after winning 'Miss USA. Her debut was on the television show 'Clueless. She gained a lot of attention as she became "the Doritos Girl" by appearing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast at the 1998 Super Bowl. In 2000 she made her feature film debut in the movie Beautiful. Since then, she has appeared in several films and TV series.
